Janet Lennox’s art seeks to capture the energy and spirit of “place”. She draws on personal experience in order to convey an image that speaks to her viewers, and a sense of place and identity.

In her painting she has had the opportunity to paint and experiment with colour, texture and form. Abstraction, boldness, broad strokes, energy and action are what Janet evokes in her work. Acrylic, encaustic, water colour and mixed media are her mediums of choice. Private commissions, and creating art for family and friends is what she enjoys.

Her work is on display at the Calgary Entrepreneurial Centre with ATB Financial and private
collections.
