Maureen O’Keefe West

Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Maureen has resided in Calgary for over 30 years and has been painting professionally since 1979. She is regarded as an impressionistic representational artist who paints mostly in watercolours and some pastels. The paintings are of landscapes, seascapes, florals, animals and western themes with an emphasis on action and mood.

Maureen’s paintings reside in Calgary and other parts of Canada and the USA and in many other parts of the world in corporate and private collections. She has worked on large murals in Calgary and Vancouver,  national and international snow sculpting competitions and has designed sculpted and painted prize-winning Stampede parade floats.
