Art is Monique’s passion. She started drawing in pencil in her teenage years, and joined her first art class in 1992 when invited by a friend.  All her teachers were professional artists.

Oils are Monique’s medium of choice although she also paints in acrylic and  alcohol ink.  Her subject matter varies as she likes to paint what touches her emotionally.  She enjoys being in a class environment as it motivates her to try different perspectives.  Monique always perseveres to achieve her best in her artistic endeavours.
