Mary Lou Timinski

Mary Lou TiminskiMary Lou was born in Lacombe, Alberta and she lived in Stettler, Alberta, in her early years.

Art Education:

Evening courses at SAIT Basic Art, Art History, Drawing, Painting with Acrylics and Oils.

Studied under the direction of Jon Williams for 8 years, working in the mediums of: Pen and Ink, Oil and Watercolor.

Workshop with Tom Lynch, techniques of watercolor.

Representation in Collections:

Provincial Museum of Alberta, Edmonton Alberta, permanent collection -Brown pen and ink of the McDougall House. John A. McDougall’s home, the first fur trader in Western Canada, Mayor of Edmonton 1897-1903. McDougall House sold in 1946, dismantled in 1974, replaced by YWCA building. Print No. 32/100
