James Nichol

James Nichol is an Alberta painter whose works have been displayed in group and juried shows for many years. His paintings are represented in private and corporate collections in Western and Eastern Canada as well as in the United States.

While much of his work expresses the beauty and moods of the Western Canadian landscape - Alberta in particular - he is drawn to paint the beauty of nature wherever it is found. Depending on the subject and the needs of any particular image, his paintings may be rendered in various media including watercolor, pastel, acrylic or even a combination of media if it serves the needs of the painting.
