Samar Metwali
After years of working in abstract during college years, I began to appreciate Canadian nature to the point that I felt, painting in realistic style will be fair enough to the amazing Canadian Nature. Also my talent became more obvious in realistic style. Expressing my feelings in colors and lights is the most important thing in my paintings. Each color and light has its own feeling. And harmony comes naturally if the artist is being pure and honest about his or her feelings. This is how I turn my paintings into a poem or a symphony to please myself and others. It’s a wonderful feeling to look at a painting and feel the happiness inside your heart.
